Profit-making facelift

We were asked to renovate this property for a landlord who had yet to make any profit in the 5 years of ownership, due to voids and problem tenants. We spent 3 days revamping the property and arranged for the neighbouring property to fix a leaking roof that was causing damp problems to this property. We also arranged for a specialist HMO letting agency to take over the management of the property . The result is a property ready to see a profit of just over £1000 per month from 5 new tenants.

In the 2 day revamp we focused on a deep clean, de-clutter, repaint and stylish dressing.


Each room was a good-sized double but the lack of colour and the arrangement of the furniture caused them to look small and cold.










Adding a feature wall colour, re-painting all the white and colour matching the dressing items created a warm, clean and crisp feel.


















The final product has produced 5 double rooms that should rent at £325 per room per month allowing for a healthy profit of just over £1000 per month to the landlord after expenses.
